It so happened that several years ago I had to urgently buy an electric heater, I will not name either the manufacturer or the type, but my skepticism knew no bounds, because The efficiency (efficiency) of this device was declared 96%, by the way, I “bought” a guarantee for more than 6 years. The operating time of the heating device, as well as my amateur-laboratory measurements, to refute this statement, on the contrary led to the opposite. Yes, it looks like the efficiency is really high! Today I want to talk about the warm skirting board about the heating system, a novelty in our country, the obvious uniqueness and advantages of which I can not even believe at first.
This system has been known to “decaying capitalism” in Europe since the 1960s, but in Russia it is still not so popular, because most of the living space is heated centrally. With a warm baseboard, such a phenomenon is simply not possible, moisture does not sit on such walls, they are constantly dry, and besides, they heat the house with such an area ..., the only thing left to envy is warm floors. Lack of mold and mildew is a health factor!
The generated heat does not accumulate under the ceiling, and similarly to the operation of infrared heaters heats objects and the environment at the level of contact with them. At an air temperature of only 16 ° C, the comfort level is felt at 22-24 ° C, as when sitting by a fireplace or a bonfire we bask in the heat of fire, not noticing the surrounding air. Agree, it’s worth considering, because saving burned fuel or heat consumed increases the efficiency of such a heating system in relation to traditional systems so that the difference becomes immediately noticeable. The heating efficiency of a warm baseboard is high and due to the walls creating a so-called thermal screen that does not let out warm air.
Warm skirting is made in two versions - with a coolant, i.e. when through a system of plastic pipes from an autonomous boiler or urban heating system, water is supplied to copper radiators, and electrically heated by the modules. In principle, it is also possible to independently install such a heating system, but it is necessary, at a minimum, to understand what servos, thermostats and distribution manifold are.
